เด็กผู้หญิงเกาหลีหายตัวไป มีคนไปเจออีกทีเป็นศพในแม่น้ำแถวบ้าน แม่น้ำนี้เคยเกิดคดีฆาตกรรมผู้หญิงหลายคดี คนร้ายฆ่าข่มขืนแต่ตำรวจไม่ตามจับ จนพ่อเด็กใจสลายจบชีวิตตัวเอง ผ่านไป 15 ปี ตรวจเจอผู้ชายมีดีเอ็นเอตรงกับอสุจิบนตัวเหยื่อ แต่อัยการเกา���ลีกลับไม่สั่งฟ้อง มองว่าเด็กผู้หญิงสมยอมเอง

ในปี 2001 ที่เมืองนาจู มีเด็กผู้หญิงชื่อ พัคซูยอน อายุ 17 คืนนึงซูยอนออกจากบ้านไปแถวร้านเกม จากนั้นก็ไม่มีใครเห็นอีกเลย เช้าวันต่อมามีคนตกปลาเห็นร่างเด็กผู้หญิงสภาพเปลือย ลอยมาตามแม่น้ำดือดึล เสื้อผ้ารวมถึงแหวนที่ซูยอนใส่ติดตัวเสมอหายไป เจ้าหน้าที่นำร่างไปชันสู��รก็เห็นได้ชัดเลยว่า ซูยอนโดนข่มขืนก่อนตาย และมีฟองอากาศในหลอดลม แพลงก์ตอนในปอด ซึ่งทำให้เจ้าหน้าที่สรุปแค่ว่าจมน้ำตาย

เจ้าหน้าที่มีการเก็บดีเอ็นเอ สมัยนั้นเกาหลียังไม่มีระบบฐานข้อมูลกลาง เจ้าหน้าที่เลยทำเท่าที่ทำได้คือเก็บตัวอย่างดีเอ็นเออสุจิและอื่นๆ ที่พบบนร่างซูยอนเอาไว้ และเอาไปเทียบกับบุคคลรอบตัวซูยอน แต่ก็ไม่ตรงกับใครเลย แต่ที่ตำรวจพลาดคือ���ม่หาแหวนของซูยอน แหวนที่หายไปเป็นแหวนทองมีค่า อาจถูกเอาไปจำนำ แต่ตำรวจไม่ได้สนใจตามหา ไม่ได้ตั้งใจสืบ ทั้งที่มีร่องรอยว่าเหยื่อโดนคนร้ายฆ่าข่มขืน แต่ปิดจบแค่ว่าจมน้ำตาย

พ่อของซูยอนเสียใจมาก ครอบครัวพังทลาย จนในปี 2009 ผ่านมาหลายปี พ่อของซูยอนก็จบชีวิตตัวเอง เหลือแต่คนเป็นแม่ที่สูญเสียทั้งสามีและลูกสาว ขณะที่ตำรวจ��ับคนร้ายไม่ได้และไม่พยายามเลย

ปีต่อมาในปี 2010 เกาหลีมีกฎหมายดีเอ็นเอขึ้นมา สร้างระบบฐานข้อมูลจัดเก็บดีเอ็นเอนักโทษ มีการตรวจเจอในปี 2012 ว่าดีเอ็นเอที่พบบนร่างซูยอนไปตรงกับดีเอ็นเอของนักโทษชื่อ คิมโดยง ซึ่งตอนนั้นกำลังติดคุกตลอดชีวิตอยู่ในคดีฆ่าคนตายสองคนเพื่อขโมยเงิน 100 ล้านวอน คิมโดยงปฏิเสธว่าไม่ได้เป็นคนฆ่า บอกว่าถ้ามีดีเอ็นเอไปอยู่กับตัวซูยอน ก็สงส��ยเขาเคยมีอะไรกับเธอมั้ง แล้วที่ช็อคคือ อัยการดันตัดสินใจไม่สั่งฟ้อง มองว่าซูยอนอาจจะสมยอมมีอะไรกับคิมโดยงก็ได้ ไม่ได้คิดจะปกป้องศักดิ์ศรีของเด็กผู้หญิงเลยแม้แต่น้อย

จนปี 2015 เกาหลีผ่านกฎหมายแทวัน ยกเลิกอายุความคดีฆาตกรรม และสื่อเริ่มขุดคุ้ยคดีของซูยอน ทำให้ตำรวจโดนประชาชนกดดัน ออกทำงาน ตั้งทีมสืบสวน และมีศจ.อีจองบินที่มาช���วยไขคดีนี้ เป็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญนิติเวชศาสตร์ ทำการทดลองและพบว่าอสุจิของนายคิมโดยงกับประจำเดือนของซูยอน ไม่ได้ผสมรวมเป็นเนื้อเดียว ถ้าแค่มีอะไรกันและซูยอนสมยอม มันต้องผสมรวมตัวกัน เพราะซูยอนขยับตัว แต่นี่แยกกัน แสดงว่าซูยอนตายก่อนโดนข่มขืน ทำให้คำโกหกของคิมโดยงโป๊ะแตกทันที

สุดท้ายคิมโดยงโดนตัดสินติดคุกตลอดชีวิตซ้ำอีกรอบ วันที่เจ้าหน้าที่โทรแจ้งแม่ของซูยอนให้รู้ว่าจับคนร้ายติดคุกได้แล้ว วันนั้นเป็นวันเกิดของซูยอน แม่ให้สัมภาษณ์ว่า หลังรู้ผลก็พูดหน้ารูปของสามีว่า ในที่สุดเราก็ทวงคืนความยุติธรรมให้ลูกได้แล้ว

@pervysaya @greyberrymf I used to be apart of these communities unfortunately when I was 12-13. I know that it encompasses other disorders but I specified anorexia because I didn’t have enough room when I was writing my tweet and it had “eating disorders” so I changed a bunch of words to be shorter
