I just had a dream that I was hanging out with @MKBHD.
I pitched him an idea I am starting to explore, which makes blind people see using Apple Vision Pro.
As I explained all the details, his eyes glimmered, and he grabbed my arm and took me to Apple so I could meet @tim_cook.
@MUITrunkz@Pyrix_RL I guess that is the problem… with age come responsibilities… so the time available for playing begins to shrink to the point that I’m happy if I can play 2-3 hours in a week.
@seraleev Honestly, I hope they do raise the quality bar.
App Store is already getting flooded with low effort, vibe coded trash.
At the same time, I hope Apple gives faster reviews to vetted developers who have a history of shipping real products and not spamming the store.
@andi_losing is it worth doing? I suck with social media and avoid it... but I see a lot of people talk about it being the best way to market the app... I wish there was an easier way to advertise to the right people
@atombraingames I would LOVE if games like this could open some kind of modding ability to use voice models / AI. I suck at reading and fuck up the story because I misread things
It would be great if the https://t.co/daegyXPTbh home page could resurface games that were already submitted but have clearly been improved since launch.
I noticed a nice bump in players when my game was first added, but almost nothing after that. That is understandable, but it also means there is little visibility for games that keep getting meaningfully better over time.
For example, I recently improved my game by adding VS AI so it is less boring while waiting for other players to join. Changes like that can make a big difference, but right now there is no real way for players to rediscover the game through https://t.co/daegyXPTbh.
Maybe there could be some kind of “recently updated” boost with anti abuse protection built in. For example:
* a game can only be resurfaced once per day
* only if a major version changed (based on an exposed version file or meta tag)?
* or only after moderator approval / some lightweight validation
That way, games that are actively improving get another chance to be seen, without letting people spam the homepage.
Btw, feel free to try mine: https://t.co/u455FuSAW0. Best played with friends 😊
I know portals are a great way to get new players and I’m still thinking of a way to add it to my game 🤔
@rohandey@levelsio@cursor_ai@boltdotnew@heyglif Got to a point when it mostly works, but ICE often fails on the same network (at least those that I tried). But at least having some progress on it 😅
@Aurelien_Gz@kaleidoscube Braid 3D by @Jonathan_Blow?😅
BTW, Braid made my eyes teary near the ending… one of the best, quite confusing, seemingly shallow and simple, yet very deep and complex game I’ve played 🥰
@jaredatjared@levelsio@cursor_ai@boltdotnew@heyglif Actually I have no clue what I want, I just want it to work 😅 If I don’t get a breakthrough in a day or two I’ll probably pivot to some simpler idea that doesn’t require insanely good networking
