DOOM: The Dark Ages DLC news from Hugo this week:

Gameplay:
- The overall balance in the DLC is feeling really good
- The Mace wind-up animation is now shorter, so the time between the input and the attack itself has essentially been reduced. You will now feel less punished for using it
- The new previously mentioned Cyberdemon wingflap attack does no damage, it only repositions you
- The randomized parryable projectiles on enemies that don't have them could be added with the DLC, not fully confirmed yet however (Revenant, Pinky, Mancubus, etc.)

I didn't mind the Samur story actually. Links the other worlds together a bit, like else why would this God-like figure stay on Earth in disguise?

@ItzSoyuz To be fair the end of 2016 is a great cliffhanger, I just would've liked to at least see more than a bit of lore written in Eternal explaining some of what happened between games. A quick flashback scene would've been fun. Give us the Hayden badass fighting cut!
