Babangida destroyed the wealth of the South and handed the wealth of the country to the cabals…. He destroyed the central bank, took it from the ministry of finance and handed it over to the House of Usman Dan Fodio… to be controlled by the Dasukis…. direct bloodlines of Dan Fodio. The body the Dasukis invited to do the damage was BCCI and the racketeering fraud created a lot of overnight millionaires in the North at the expense of the South that had to close down many of their manufacturing hubs.

He also created the TCPC that oversaw the privatization of 58 state owned companies. Then he used the scam going on in the central bank to get funds for Arewa oligarchs and cabals…. Beneficiaries included the Dasukis, Shehu Musa Yar Adua and Bamanga Tukor… properties they bought included NICON, Abuja real estates, Ocean Lines, Sambo farms and HABIB Bank…

It was also Babangida who started the award of oil blocs to private Nigerians who just resold their licenses and profited from its windfalls…. Many of the beneficiaries were also Arewa oligarchs.

Babangida started the NNPC scam. Many of the refineries were deliberately sabotaged by the local refineries to expand on the subsidy and profit from the windfall. Once again, the Arewa oligarchs profited from the massive windfall from the subsidies which drained the country of resources, with this subsidy, a few cabals, mostly from the North…. exploited close to 40% of the total revenues of the country.

What they usually do is invite a few southerners to help them manage the Assets and companies while they enjoy royalties. Many of the big names in the South are fronts from the Northern cabals and helped them manage their telecommunications, shipping, real estate and banking empires. Atiku tried to expand on the Cabals as vice president while he was in charge of privatization of public assets. It eventually caused tensions between him and OBJ….

These cabals are the ones Tinubu destroyed.... They are the ones Atiku is indirectly promising to return in the form of a Greek gift to ignorant people.

Tinubu’s path is the true path to a prosperous future for Nigeria. He has removed the Cabals and he has blocked their access to public wealth from the corridors of power….

However, for the president to be fully successful, he needs to commit to homegrown industrialization for his next four years in office. This is the only way he can complete his legacy and go down in history as a great reformer. He needs to commit to Agriculture full scale and then stabilize the struggling local industries by pumping a lot of money into the sectors in a way that targets the right people.

He also needs to expand outside Lagos to bring in grassroot reformers. The Lagos elites do not have it in them to embark on projects that injects stimulus into an economy. This is well laid knowledge since the days of the sage. No Lagos elite was a part of his projects for reforms with agro industry and local industries….. He only brought them into his government at Macro levels.

If Atiku ever makes it to power (Heaven’s forbid). He will take all this wealth the president is saving and squander it among his large family and Arewa friends at the expense of the south. …. He will do exactly what Babangida did and take us back into the wilderness…. This will be at the expense of the South
