@Ohnimus210 A majority of Mario spin-offs are actually really good and fun, and those that arenβt typically get a sequel years later that improves on the foundations set up! Sonic could learn a thing or two about that.
@ZTH_END@Ohnimus210 This does not happen, barring niche exceptions. The rhetoric surrounding that has basically always been incorrect. Whenβs the last time you read a headline or saw a post about something being taken down?
@Shamaboy11 I genuinely think Year Two is an overextension of money and resources. These collaborations are going to eat into the profits of the game, and I donβt anticipate Booster Course Pass numbers from something far less substantial. Itβs a dumb risk to take. Just make a new project.
@SilverFan101@Roninlord1604 Are we talking games that are substantial? No Shadow Generations or The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog?
Wellβ¦
I guess it would be Sonic Mania?
@AdriWindGB Itβs regional pandering, the βplease like us, we have your mediaβ tactic. Whether that works or not is anyoneβs guess, but at least these two properties still have a mark in international culture. Maybe Sanrio characters are next?
@AdriWindGB Itβs definitely a desperation move to maintain the Japanese fandomβs attention. They donβt wanna repeat what happened after Sonic Adventure, where Japan cared about that one game and then stopped caring about other stuff to the point where Sonic X bombed in that region.
@CanonConstruct@BoostBracelet Being honest isnβt being miserable. Itβs actually extremely helpful to give people a reality check. SEGA doesnβt care about us; furthermore, they seem to care very little about their own reputation, to the point where you question if they understandβ¦anything about PR!
@TheTrueBrenden Itβs absurd to me that they canβt even put the bare minimum of effort into stuff like background checks. The fact that they care so little doesnβt actually shock me, but youβd think that after being called out for so much similar wrongdoing they would wise up!
@Mama_Pooks The best you can do let them ride out that phase. Typically, emulation comes in short bursts, at least for me. If it gets to be too much, talk to them about it.
