Today is World Mental Health Day. The focus for this year is prioritising mental health in the workplace. We marked this with Tea and Talk. Staff were encouraged take some time today to go into the staffroom and have tea (or coffee) and cake and chat to a colleague.
This is no mean feat, as a Platinum Mark is only awarded to a handful of schools nationwide, who have consistently achieved a Gold Mark in previous years and have shown consistent dedication to sport and activity in their region.
3rd place for our netball team this evening at the finals of the league. After winning both games in the group, we narrowly lost the semi final by a golden point after a 3-3 draw, but then won the third place play off @ChorleySSP

Our girls' cricket team this week won the Chorley district competition and will now go on and represent the town in the Lancashire competition. The final against Primrose Hill went to a super over after the game was tied. Thanks to @ChorleySSP for organising

We are looking for a co-opted governor to join our Governing Board. The role involves attending a couple of meetings each term, which at the moment are held virtually. These usually take place at 4pm on a Tuesday.
