En 2006, Paul #Kagame était l’invité de l’émission #HARDtalk de la #BBC, face au journaliste @stephensackur .
C’est la seule fois qu’un journaliste occidental a osé lui poser les vraies questions — frontalement et sans mettre de gants.

📌 Sur l’assassinat du Président #Habyarimana, Sackur lui demande :
« Avez-vous tué le Président #Habyarimana ? »
Kagame, agacé, répond qu’il n’était pas chargé de sa sécurité et qu’il « s’en fichait ».

Sackur, stupéfait, réplique :

« Mais vous veniez de signer un accord de paix ! Et vous vous en fichiez ? »

📌 Il l’interroge aussi sur :
– les crimes de guerre du #FPR,
– Laurent Nkunda et l’invasion du Congo par le #Rwanda,
– le pillages des ressources de la #RDC.

#Kagame perd plusieurs fois patience, hausse le ton, montre un visage autoritaire et menaçant rarement vu dans les médias occidentaux.

🎥 L’interview fut si brutale, si révélatrice, que le régime de #Kigali a fait pression sur la #BBC pour la supprimer. Les mensonges étaient si évidents qu'ils se lisaient sur le visage de #Kagame!

Aujourd'hui cette interview a disparu du site officiel et de la chaîne #YouTube de la #BBC.
Mais heureusement, des citoyens vigilants l’avaient enregistrée.

🎥 The interview was so intense and revealing that the #Kigali regime reportedly pressured the #BBC to remove it. The lies were so obvious that you could read them on his face!

It has since disappeared from both the official website and the BBC’s #YouTube channel.

But thankfully, some vigilant citizens saved and reuploaded the footage.
