@HighlandParking@highlandcyclist Speaking of making dropped kerbs unsafe, can you do something with this one on Huntly Street Inverness, to stop cars parking so close as to obscure the view of traffic please.
@HighlandCouncil This dropped kerb on Gilbert Street, Inverness is quite dangerous as cars can park right next to it and reducing visibility. Could the double yellow lines be extended so it can be used safely please?
@Flutterbyknits@highlandcyclist Yes but traffic wardens only really operate in city centres. Itโs more of an issue in the outlying residential areas where I believe the police would need to issue a penalty notice and I donโt see that happening.
@theJeremyVine Probably go and stomp on brake disc rotor hard enough to bend it. Then at least the thieving little s**t couldnโt be ride off on it. #deathtobikethieves
@highlandcyclist Just been to New York City for the first
Time in 18 years and absolutely blown away by the shift toward buses and particularly cycling. Last time I visited, I would never have considered cycling whereas this time, we rented bikes for an afternoon.
The government signing the new CPTPP is likely to mean adopting lower food standards and zero tariffs on such environmentally devastating products such as palm oil with no referendum. Stop this now and sign the petition. https://t.co/IseZNHudWN
@DavidMackayy@AdamBronkhorst I think the point is here, is that they do not have the legal authority to hold up or direct traffic and may actually be breaking the law themselves. If the driver is doing something illegal then they should be contacting the police.
