@T2SydneyTrains This post is 3 hours old. Are the trains still not running? If so, would you please update transportnsw so that it doesn’t list trains that aren’t coming? It’s hard to make decisions with bad info
@TrainsInfo you need to disable the transportinfo website when service is this bad. It’s giving faulty information about trains that are not coming. Super hard for people to “plan ahead” if you give them false info.
@TrainsInfo the website says there are trains, the indicator board says no trains. Who should we believe when getting conflicting info?
(The indicator board has now updated which is helpful, but I’d love guidance on how to approach the next time there is conflicting info)
When google maps and NSW trip planner give you conflicting advice, who should you believe?
- one of them runs the transport system and has 100% access to real time data and decision making
- one has excellent systems that try to give up to date info and is generally accurate
@sueytweets@tudorgrrrl What a cool itinerary: I did Nashville > Clarksdale > NOLA earlier this year.
Nashville fave: the African American music history museum.
NOLA faves: Kermit Ruffin’s mother in law’s lounge on Tuesday nights, and Vaughan’s. Killer music with a neighbourhood vibe.
@EcosystemsGary @sueleelim Blues is definitely a dance for all bodies. Rhythm is one a fundamental element, and that you’re a blues guitarist is awesome! There are some lovely blues dancers in Perth, I hope you make it to a dance.
@sueleelim @EcosystemsGary Ultimate Blues dance is a Black American folk dance meant to be danced socially. And on the social floor, danced to live slow Chicago/Jukin style blues music, it looks more like this:

@sueleelim @EcosystemsGary This is one of my favourite examples of Blues Dance: it’s a choreographed performance danced by some of the best blues dancers around, to a jazzy/Ballroomin style song. It shows vintage steps and a lot of the cultural values we care about.
