@ltarsenal It’s odd to identify a talent and buy them before their price rockets, see what a great bit of business you’ve done and never realise that ability on the pitch. Do we really need 30-40m (pure guess) profit over a top CB?

Im sure there are other considerations (xhaka able to sit in that left side position/opponents) - but it is as if he’s shackled sometimes

@LeGrove I think you have to remove the story of the squad and instead look at the situation. A great, and achievable result is top 4.

Not a half full/empty situation, just a question of us exceeding what we thought we were capable of and it not being a pipe dream for next year

@clivepafc At what point do we start looking at external factors for these yellows/reds. Time wasting not punished for Burnley. Gabi clearly embarrassed by his dispossession, but two yellows in 10 seconds actually given? Not sure I’ve ever seen that

Ironically the penalties were fairly and potentially correctly not given before VAR

He did however set a high bar for yellows in the first half he then dropped in the second and got card happy.

KT with a stick on yellow in 2nd half he didn’t give as he’d lost the game
