36 years ago today, a bold generation stepped forward and changed the course of Rwanda forever.

1 October 1990 was the beginning of a journey forged through sacrifice, courage and an unwavering belief in a better Rwanda.

Today we remember the lives and sacrifices behind that journey, while celebrating the Rwanda of today a country built around peace, unity, resilience and ambition.
