I’m FOREVERRRR praying that I get my fairytale ending…the dream career, the financial freedom, the friends, the family, the peace, the love….just everything that I truly and genuinely deserve.
Moving on after a relationship breakup is hard not because we are weak. It is hard because love rewires us.
When you let someone into your routines,
your hopes, your tiny everyday moments, they become a part of your inner world.
So when a relationship breaks, it is not just the future that shatters. It is the invisible threads woven into your daily life that break.
People say, “Just move on.” But how do you “just” move on from someone whose memory lives in your playlists, your habits, your favourite places, your everyday life.
How do you erase someone who once shaped the way you breathed, hoped, and dreamed?
A breakup is a death without a funeral.
You lose a person, but the world expects you to walk around as if nothing happened.
You carry the grief quietly in the late-night overthinking, random waves of sadness, unanswered questions, and you long for the version of yourself that existed when you felt loved.
Healing is not forgetting. It is learning to live in a world that no longer contains the thing you thought you couldn’t live without.
It is rebuilding, brick by brick, until one day you realise the ache is lighter, the memories are kinder, and the future feels possible again.
You don’t move on all at once. You move on in small, silent victories:
when you sleep a little better,
when you laugh without guilt,
when a song stops hurting,
when a plan excites you again,
When you stop checking your phone for a message that is not coming.
That is how the heart heals; quietly, slowly, imperfectly.
And one morning, without even noticing, the past doesn’t pull.
Not because you stopped loving,
but because you finally started loving yourself more.
P.S : For all those going through a breakup :
Take care of yourself.
You are very precious.
