They are calling it "the @midjourney scanner"

Insane details:

- First, the scale. The device uses 8,960 individual transducers arranged in a ring around your body

- The precision is the most jaw-dropping part: it resolves motion at the picometer range. It can image internal tissues finer than the width of an atom. We are talking sub-atomic level diagnostic capability

- The compute requirement is massive. The system processes 17 gigabytes of data per second.

It takes 40GB of raw data to reconstruct just one cross-sectional slice. And they are planning to scan 100 slices?

- Midjourney claims that fewer than 12 of these machines could perform more full-body scans than every MRI machine on Earth combined.

Welcome to the future of healthcare!

Not only these scanners are announced, they will exist in a "Midjourney SPA" - with hot tubs, saunas, cold plunges, and 9-10 whole body scanners.

NEW: Inside the 24-hrs before WH slapped export controls on Anthropic
- Last Thursday, Amazon CEO Andy Jassy raised concerns about Fable jailbreak to Trump admin
- Friday AM, Sean Cairncross, Bessent, Susie etc. held WH call to discuss
- Then White House started reaching out to Anthropic to speak with Dario Amodei, who was at a wellness retreat.
- When Amodei was finally available past 1pm, he had three tense phone calls with a combo of ppl including Cairncross, Bessent, Lutnick, Kessler, Will Scharf, Richard Walters, and Walker Barrett.
-Amodei tried to clear up what he assumed was a misunderstanding. He defended the guardrails and distinguished between universal and non-universal jailbreak
- Cairncross and Bessent were unmoved and asked Amodei to take down Fable and work with the admin to fix the vulnerabilities. (A WH official said Amazon’s findings were run past the NSA and they felt they had “proof.”)
- Amodei asked for more time and info, but he made no commitments to pull the model
- Bessent told Amodei directly at one point that he was making a “bad decision”
- By Friday evening, the Trump admin imposed its export controls.
- “Export controls were a last resort after begging them for hours to work with us,” senior WH official said.

我认为 Model Y 的“一体式漫反射贯穿尾灯”并不是一个好的设计，光强也是有信息含量的，漫反射相当于为了美感而抛弃了很多的信息量，降低里信息传递的速度。

使用 Token 来做设计一段时间后，感觉用 AI 来改变专业设计，“生成”是很小的一个领域，甚至可以说它不重要，与生产相关的应该是工作流革新。

AI 结合传统设计软件有太多错位，所见所得的工具很多的确可以被数字和语言替代，但放弃中间的所见所得，也会陷入“颜色再深一点”“过渡再缓和一点”的权力让渡。

很多 AI 布道者的账号，自从他们使用各种配图之后，就再也没有看过了（或许他们自己还没有意识到），里面可能还有些信息是有价值的，迅速就被 “AI Design” 给稀释掉了。

设计作为一种语言，有很多管线，其中有很细的一条我会称作专线，设计师在编码时，并不期望人人去关注和解码，但或许另一个设计师以及对设计感兴趣的人看到它可以通过这条专线立刻被触及到，以笑容、“哈”或者是疑问（“哥们，有这必要吗？”）来回应。

小西天，看着像视频，但其实是我们在现场实地拍摄 3,811 张 206 GB 的照片后建模的。FUNES 把《黑神话：悟空》里「既见未来，为何不拜」满天神佛的原型，来自自山西临汾隰县的小西天，做成了一个可漫游的 3DGS 数字存档。

完全实地拍摄，每天清晨一开门就冲上山去，趁着没人的时候拍。然后通过 Gaussian Splatting 重建，没有手工建模，尽量保留真实悬塑和圆塑的极其密集的金色空间、细节和光感。不同的材质在这里交织成了无法分辨的一个天国世界。这种半空中的小塑像是「悬塑」，它们大多出现在十六世纪到十七世纪。

在现场如果要看清小西天的所有细节，我想大概需要三天时间。但是有了模型，我们可以在屏幕前慢慢看。在相当长的时间里，学术界并没有特别重视小西天这样的悬塑——因为在只有学术图录的年代，平面印刷无法展示出悬塑的震撼。而随着技术的进步，我们终于可以在远方一窥明代悬塑的璀璨。

将此前从 Pocket 备份下来的一千多链接参照 Karpathy 的 LLM Wiki 搭建起来，从 html 抽取成 MD 文档时又让 LLM 处理了一道，感觉作用比我想象中的好，当然这里面我觉得最关键一点还是这些文章都是自己已经读过了。

作为个人知识（资料）库真还不错，第一个还是来自于全本地化了吧，现在我干脆把图片收藏也同步进来了。

有一个小 Tips 是：每篇文章由 LLM 生成摘要后，再把摘要加一些东西又给 LLM 来生成一个向量来本地存储，然后来形成一个文章图谱或相关文章，很有用。
