@canopybyhilton pictured is the razor that was left in our room from the previous occupants. Not pictured is the receptionist who told my wife to wait until she was done talking before she was allowed to ask questions, the 20 minutes we sat at the bar without being greeted before we left, or the used sock and nicotine patch left in the elevator. Your Austin location was atrocious. BTW, we're Diamond level and were treated like this.
@libsoftiktok@usedgov Several religions have mandates against telling a lie. If a person in authority is telling someone to tell what they believe to be a falsehood or face punishment, that could easily be violating someone's freedom of religion as well as their free speech.
@elonmusk This continues until the people get tired of it. When that happens, a large group of people will post something "arrest worthy" over and over again to overwhelm the system. A non-violent protest to protect free speech is the best solution.
@elonmusk How many of those Optimus robots tied to developing AI would it take to prep Mars in advance for a functioning human colony? Be a long checklist of tasks, but a tireless workforce operating around the clock could shorten the time frame and mitigate risks significantly.
@Mappy6984 At first, I was sad to see her cut ties with her family and her razor. But the actual tragedy is that she cut ties with her church, implying that she's adding barriers between herself and her relationship with God.
If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal.
If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist.
If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian.
If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.
@SecKennedy@POTUS@CMSGov Great, now take the step that is really needed and deregulate the insurance industry. Choice in providers means lower costs and competition for the customer means better service.
