If you stop learning, you stop leading.
The more intentional you are about your leadership growth, the greater your potential for becoming the leader you’re capable of being. To be effective, leaders must always be learners!

For all that is holy in PR, don’t spray and pray. You’re giving PR pros a bad rep & journalists a headache.
Instead, show you took the time to personalize your email:
1. Explain why you’re reaching out
2. Show why the story is a good fit
3. Provide multiple sources (if possible)
Each day of school, we get to make a deposit into the memory banks of children.
Relationships matter.
Positive moments matter.
Schools exist for KIDS. Love them hard!

If you want things to change, work to change them. Don’t wait on others to do it, don’t say it’s somebody else’s job, don’t make excuses.
Show up, where you are, on purpose.
Be the change.
The psychology of PR extends to crisis management. During a crisis, people seek trust, stability, and empathy.
Addressing these psychological needs in your response can turn a crisis into an opportunity for brand strengthening.
Timing is key in PR.
Plan ahead and strategically align your campaigns with seasonal opportunities to ensure you’re part of the conversation when interest is peaking.
🙌🏾Excellent @NSPRA webinar today on institutionalizing & internalizing equity efforts! Takeaways: Have honest conversations; be proactive, not reactive; highlight success stories; have a lifelong learner mentality; plan out comms; strategic approach. #SchoolPR
