There's a school violence hoax circulating social media. It originated in San Antonio on 9/14. The threat has been edited to fit UT. We're actively investigating this, but there is no current indication of UT school involvement. We don't believe it to be credible at this time.

The need for both Search & Rescue missions along with Law Enforcement related searches keeps increasing. The team is filled with professionals who do an incredible job to fulfill the mission of #KeepingUtahSafe.

I'd like to highlight our @UtahDPS Aero Bureau. Last week alone, they had 35 missions with 59.7 flight hours between 2 helicopters. 15 of them were SAR, rescuing 24 individuals & 18 hoists. While 20 of them were law enforcement related w/arrests. Thank you for #KeepingUtahSafe!

In 2021, 39 teen drivers were involved in a fatal crash; a total of 47 people were killed in these crashes. Today we shared awareness to teach our teens safe driving habits in a joint effort from @UtahDPS, @UtahDHHS, and @UtahDOT. The only acceptable number is @ZeroFatalities.
