Twitter doesn't seem to like YouTube video links, so here's a reupload of the last episode of my #research profiles series (at great personal expense - of £3.60)
I'm currently looking to apply my passion for #scicomm in a full-time position, so please share this with anyone with info. about similar opportunities 🤞
This episode featured @ThatItchyGirl and her work on #arthropod ectoparasites with the aim of understanding past human and animal life histories 🪲
Finally, stay tuned for the next episode ft. @EttieWaterman and her work studying #redkite remains to understand how #medieval to modern attitudes have affected their diets and distribution 🦅

I was starting to get annoyed with @reflectnotes's AI feature changing my spellings to US English - this frustration was short-lived when I figured out how to modify the prompts to add a very British "please follow British English spelling rules" line. This thing is amazing.

@jayforeman It certainly could be something akin to genetic drift. It only takes a small edge over Labour in the past for tactical-voting selection to weed out the third party.

https://t.co/bcyOekqnlF
We talked about the evidence for the tolerant attitude of humans towards #redkites in the #medieval period 🏰, their persecution under the the #Tudor 🤴🏻 vermin laws, and their successful #reintroduction to the UK in the 1980 and 90s 🥳.
We also touched on the #controversial practise of feeding red kites 🍗, which studies have shown is common in areas like #Reading ⬛️⬜️🟪.
That wasn't the best @KawalaOfficial show I've ever seen. Great tunes and the guys are always good value, but I could barely hear Jim and the cameras pushing through the crowd were distracting. Hopefully just an @here_ldn thing and I can see them at a festival in the near future.
@sarlize98@UniRdg_PhD@UniRdg_News This is fascinating. Would you be interested in being the subject of a research profile like the one I've linked below? It would only take up a couple of hours of your time, inc. a short pre-interview and then recording on a convenient date for ~1 hour

Are there any researchers at Reading involved in Fairtrade? I'd really like to make a research profile on this topic and help share the fascinating work going on in sustainable agriculture. @UniRdg_PhD@UniRdg_Research@UniRdg_SAPD@Uni ???
