Last Thursday night the team spent the evening with our control colleagues at the JRCC sharing experiences & giving insights about our specific roles. We spend time with the MCC who is responsible for monitoring distress signs & beacon alerts from all over the world. #oneteam

📟22/1/23 Tasked to person in the water in Southampton with @HMCoastguard Helicopter rescue 175. Casualty assisted by @ABPSouthampton patrol & passed into care of @SCAS999 supported by our officers. @hamblelifeboat & Lymington CRT also tasked but stood down. #teamwork

Last night we went off station with our Area Officer S09A to refresh our mud rescue skills in an environment where some of our newer officers who are attending their mud rescue operators course this weekend were able to get an understanding. Gave the technicians a refresher also.

Friday evening @Hillhead06 supported our colleagues from Portsmouth with a community safety event to the public at St Mary’s Church Portchester. people of all ages watched a presentation & got the opportunity to look at some of the kit we use to save lives. #community safety

2/8/22 Tasked to a vessel aground in prohibited area of Southampton water. Casualties including children removed to safety. Team maintained safety cover on vessel until following tide when @CalshotRNLI assisted refloating the vessel & escorting to safe haven in Hamble. #teamwork

📟18/7/22 Tasked to a person requiring assistance following a fall on a remote part of our area. @HMCoastguard Officers provided casualty care & then undertook a long stretcher carry in extreme heat to pass the casualty into the care of @SCAS999.

📟27/5/22 Tasked to set up Landing site at Mayflower park to land @HMCoastguard Helicopter Rescue 175 in order to collect a childrens specialist medical team & transport them to a hospital in Plymouth. #teamwork
