The Turkish state persists in trying to destroy the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (#AANES). Following Hakan Fidan’s admission of Turkey’s intention to commit war crimes against the Kurds, today over 20 Turkish air-strikes targeted civilian infrastructure, including power stations and water and oil facilities. Turkey is targeting necessary infrastructure in order to systematically force the people to leave the region. This is nothing but ethnic cleansing. Over 5 millions people, including refugees from other parts of Syria, live in comparative concord in the AANES. These air-strikes leave civilians with nothing but devastation. It causes nothing but chaos and humanitarian catastrophes. They will not succumb to this brutality, however. Turkey will never break their will. Instead, they will rebuild all damaged infrastructure.
