Ot last trip was to the #Netherlands in April, where caught the best of the #tulip season at #Keukenhof. Apart from the tulips, we also saw the famous windmills of #Kinderdijk, the canals of #Amsterdam and a litany of photogenic Dutch cities.

Kakatiyas built the first fort in Golconda in 12th c AD. It became the capital of the Qutub Shahis in the 16th c AD. Its decline started after its loss to the Mughals in 1687 AD. Seen here is the interior of the barracks of the fort.

One of the largest mosques in India, the #JamaMasjid in #Delhi was built b/n 1644 - 1656 by the #Mughal emperor #ShahJahan. The mosque was built at the highest point of #Shahjahanabad, the new capital built to replace Agra.
