Year 1 started their Geography lesson off with a quiz. The first few questions recapped on our learning in the autumn term. The last few questions were an assessment for learning opportunity on prior knowledge for the spring term. We love a good quiz!

We have been using a baked bean to understand how heavy a gram would feel. We used a bag of sugar to understand how heavy 1 kilogram felt. We then compared them both and learnt there are 1000 grams in 1 kilogram #hillviewmaths
Year 5 got to virtually meet an astronaut this morning. We asked him some very interesting questions all about his experience in space and his career journey.

Year 5 has had a fantastic day today at Horsbere Brook! We went into the Brook and measured the depth, width, speed and the temperature of the water. Also, we studied different wildlife using magnifying glasses and the human influence in the area.
