I dont understand the level of hatred the adaptations for Higurashi When They Cry gets. Are they true to the VN? No, are they a bit cringe at times yes but so is the VN. I played the VN and watched all the series and love both. Things dont need to be 1 to 1 for it to be enjoyable

@hellodesittv I didn't stop watching them immediately, but as they kept doing collabs with someone I really hate, I couldn't justify watching them anymore. I could see the changes in behavior and morals, and it didn't sit right with me. Was recently proven right with their massive scandal.

@AestheticGamer1 It's important to note that all adaptations are continuations and not remakes. So many people think each reboot is just another bad remake, but if you pay attention and actually listen to the lore and plot, they are all continuation. Higurashi's main plot is time loops!
