So many of the ROTC kids challenged him to a race, "You can run far, but I can out sprint you"

He'd smoke them all.

@Robin_Quon @stevemagness I feel as though running a good 5k still requires a strong balance of strength and speed. Marathon training is difficult purely because of the volume. I do think that the marathon is way too commercialized and that most would be just fine seriously training for a 5k
