Following a representation by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Maharashtra PWD Minister Shri Shivendrasinhraje Bhosale has directed that highway signboards displaying the old names "Aurangabad" and "Ahmednagar" be updated to the officially approved names "#Chhatrapati_Sambhajinagar " and "#Ahilyanagar ". Similar directions have also been issued by Minister of State for PWD Shri @naikindranil

Although the Maharashtra Government has officially renamed Aurangabad as Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Ahmednagar as Ahilyanagar, Osmanabad as #Dharashiv , along with Islampur as #Ishwarpur and Velhe as #Rajgad through Government Resolutions and Gazette notifications, many highway signboards continue to display the old names.

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti pointed out that once the names have been officially notified, all government records and public signboards are legally required to reflect the approved names. The Samiti has urged the PWD, NHAI and MSRDC to immediately issue a statewide circular and replace all old signboards with the officially approved names.

🚨 Update: Along with the criminal complaint filed against Dhruv Rathee for his defamatory video targeting Bhagwan Shri Ram, Seeta Mata and Bhagwan Shri Krishna, we have pursued civil remedies.

A Writ Petition seeking directions to GAC to decide the appeal or removal of the offensive video has been approved, registered, and will now be listed before the Hon'ble High Court tomorrow.

Additionally, the Ld. Magistrate has also directed the concerned SHO to file Action Taken Report on our complaint against Dhruv Rathee for 10.09.2026.

Until now, Bhagwan Shri Krishna has been doing everything, and He will continue to do so in the future as well. 🙏

🚨 Important Update on the Legal Battle to Defend Sanatana Dharma

Today, the Hon'ble High Court heard our Writ Petition and has directed the Grievance Appellate Committee (GAC) to decide our appeal for the removal of Dhruv Rathee’s highly offensive and defamatory video within 15 days. The Court has also granted us the liberty to approach the Hon'ble High Court again if our grievance is not resolved within the stipulated time.

If anyone has the grievance against Ms. @ElahiNazia1, they have fundamental right to approach the court of law and avail every legal remedy available under the law.

However, resorting to abusive language, issuing death threats, sending threatening messages on WhatsApp, or circulating obscene/nude images is absolutely unacceptable and must be strongly condemned.

I request Shri @narendramodi Ji, Shri @AmitShah Ji and Shri @myogiadityanath Ji to intervene and extend necessary support to Ms. @ElahiNazia1.

I also request @KanoongoPriyank Ji to intervene in this matter.

No individual or group should be permitted to take the law into their own hands, as such actions undermine the rule of law.
