But now that I think of it, I didn't even consider pulling up ABC on my TV. If I want to watch Jimmy Kimmel Live!, I go straight to YouTube. Broadcasters did this to themselves and wonder why their numbers are down.
Nearly 30 states couldn't watch Jimmy Kimmel because Sinclair & Nexstar chose to pull it from ABC. This isn't about taste; it's about power and silencing dissent. If they will block Kimmel, what's next?

@justusecomsense@_chandler_xx @Alphafox78 Women can replace men with a cat, men need a 20 year loan for tech decades away. Don't kid yourself. Men need women a lot more than women need men. Men need to go to charm school to learn how to be attractive partners to women. As you are now ain't cutting it. Good luck!
When did we stop showing kids how things work? If you're concerned, speak up. Contact your State Rep and tell them to support the fair school funding plan. Learn more and take action here: https://t.co/Vffix9u3UK
The proposed Bill flashing 2/3 of Ohio's education budget is exactly the wrong direction. There's no price too high when it comes to educating our children. We can't keep contributing to declining literacy rates, failing math scores, and growing disinterest in stem.
But this isn't the way. This is one section in a 1,100 page bill, but ignoring it would be careless. These "small changes" have long-term consequences. Stem education is the future but only if it's hands on, engaging, and grounded in real world learning.

Anytime I want to humble myself, I turn off autocorrect, write, then turn it back on and watch the sea of red fill my screen. It's easy to get complacent when tech does the heavy lifting. The brain is a muscle. Or ... in organ. W/e. I'm not Googling it.
This woman teaches 10th grade high school in America
She’s leaving the profession. She says kids can no longer read proficiently, they won’t pay attention, won’t listen to authority, they don’t think the Declaration of Independence is important, they’re writing their papers with ai like ChatGPT, they don’t know math, they don’t care about history
This videos goes over exactly what’s going on in high school classrooms in America
“It's just been a really poor experience. This generation is really tough. And I will admit that I'm just not cut out for it. Anyone who starts now and will be a teacher from here on out with the generation that we're teaching right now. I commend you”
@xenosRachel@MrPitbull07@WallStreetApes They usually do. When I did freelance with the News-Messenger, they had someone editing. I think the biggest issue for mainstream media is that everything is made to feel like it's on a time crunch. Time is money. Get it out fast and move on to the next.
Others have been threatened. We're not afraid & we sure as hell aren't stopping. Book Banning is ignorance, arrogance, and intolerance. Support the stories that scare them. They're usually the ones that matter the most. 5/5 #authorsagainstbookbans#freedomtoread#standwithwriters
That's the beauty of libraries. Infinite stories. Quiet acts of rebellion and hope. Safe places for every kind of mind and every kind of heart. But here's our new reality; Authors are assessing their safety at events. Planning for protests. I've been mocked at signings. 4/5
@BethVest9@smarcopoulos@ceolawyer Not an absolute protection for all forms of expression. Certain categories of speech are considered unprotected, and they include hate speech when it's crosses into harassment. It's important to note that hate speech is protected under the 1st, but not when it crosses the line
@caleigardens@farzada1976@mymadness@ChiefWitxh And they did this in a time when they were not legally able to even have their own bank account credit card or own their own business. Where men usually their husbands repeatedly stole their ideas and credited them as their own. So when people are like oh women in history wha wha
