The youngest voters in our election this year were born in 2008. 18. Now…some kids like us had our eyes wide open and a fair bunch got tear gassed at school in 2012, but these kids were only 4.
Just how a lot of us were only five when Evan was murdered and it came down to the unrelenting braveness of his mother to spark one of the most important changes of our political history.
All of us have gotten so cynical, that we’ve forgotten to remind these younglings of what is at stake - the sacrifices and ordeals our people are enduring over the past 50 years alone. Lest we forget to remind them of our millennia rich history of strife.
The deeper state of Maldivian politics and its core disharmony with decentralization is bleeding at our heritage, ecosystems and civil liberties.
So we must start with education. Nothing less and a whole lot more.
This is a stand big enough to fit all of us, but led by aamu rayyithun. Not me. Not you. But everyone. People choose their leaders, the leaders don’t choose their people.
Muizzu said Political appointees cost MVR 32M each month.
Rushing through a referendum that merges elections to “cut costs” is nefarious and unconstitutional.
Political parties have undermined citizens constantly but the data does not lie.

The future of this nation rests on the shoulders of the youth.
We swim amidst a sea of thieves that puff up their chest and proudly boast their “achievements” as a retired, or former, or whatever it is that they are - casually forgetting whatever side of sinking ships they previously belonged to, and on life rafts we citizens were never invited to be on.
Today, I stand proudly upon years and years of community building, earning respect and finding humility in the fact that my peers are the ONLY reason I stand today.
Whatever we say, will be used against us, so be loud my people, be loud and proud, for our ancestors are now rolling in their dug up graves.
Maldivians deserve better in every single possible way. A vote for me is a vote for the people - it symbolizes distrust and REJECTION of the elite.

This is absolutely insane! People came out in droves with no @MaleCitymv oversight

Three recent bids by @MaleCitymv that caught my eye, so I have filed a request for the design and bid details.
With councillors getting an F report on their attendance, I have also decided to inquire about their performance
