Liverpool-based Beatles' Locationist Mark Ashworth taking a random look at the places around Liverpool with a connection to the Fab Four....however trivial!
@LucaPerasi I love this. The fact that @PaulMcCartney is singing about our home city makes it even more special. You can take the boy out of Liverpool...
“Days We Left Behind” is the first Paul McCartney song that anticipates the album The Boys of Dungeon Lane, out on 29 May.
It’s an incredibly emotional piece, gentle and nostalgic. Get some tissues ready, I’ve warned you… A big thank you Paul.

Not been down for a while so I thought I'd look at Dungeon Lane on Google Maps. Hidden in plain sight. That is some clever promo work! @PaulMcCartney@_MikeMcCartney_@thebeatles
@seanonolennon I despair Sean. Social media is saturated with this AI bullshit, and those with less inquisitive minds will accept all these pictures and stories as fact. It's poison.
Although not completely unexpected, I am still really saddened to hear of the passing of Len Garry, one of the original Quarrymen. The one who always had a mischievious glint in his eye, the one I suspect closest in spirit to John. I always enjoyed being in his company. RIP Len
@seanonolennon Probably at the same time that everything that's ever existed became "iconic", and records/LP's became "vinyls". 🤢
Love to you and Mum at Xmas ☮️
On 18th October 2000, British singer-songwriter George Michael purchased John Lennon’s Steinway model Z piano.
We are honoured have the 'Imagine' piano on display in our visitor exhibition, thanks to George Michael's estate.
Book your visit to see it at https://t.co/MwvBZnXiJp
The National Trust always leave the light on in John's bedroom on 9 October. A photograph I took several years ago reappeared today on social media, so I thought I'd pop along tonight and take some fresh photos.
