Seat belts make the difference. Sunday night for an undetermined reason, NB Rte. 228 car crossed over center line, struck a pole and landed on its side. Driver & passenger were not injured Seat belts and airbags work. #buckleup
This morning, MFA is starting 3 Career #Recruit Firefighter training classes. They start online together for two weeks of classroom instruction and then will have practical training at all three DFS campuses before returning to the virtual classroom. (May 2018 photo).
Hingham FD extinguishes a chimney fire at 472 Main Street. No injuries reported. Fire caused by buildup inside the chimney that caught after the fireplace was used to heat the home. Fire was isolated to the chimney so no smoke damage was reported. #hinghamfd@hinghamFire

@regancarpet Right now there are multiple trees and wires down throughout town. Fire crews have responded to more than 25 storm related calls in the last 8 hours. HMLP and DPW are working hard to clear all of the reports of trees down and power outages.
