3 things my trainer put me on:
1. Not doing long haul cardio - anything longer than 30 minutes of INDOOR cardio & I might as well do a HIIT workout
2. Proper form & shoes - strength training became a whole lot more enjoyable
3. Lift heavy - self-explanatory LOL
3 things I shut my trainer down about:
1. Bulgarian split squats - it took one time for me to sprain my toe, lunges do me just fine
2. Front squats - just absolutely not.
3. Counting calories - I’m aware of the nutritional value of my food. But counting every calorie? NO
& expanding on number 3, building a healthy relationship with food is key. Beating yourself up bc you eat a cookie is insane & I’m glad I got out of that mindset

As a white person, this is the realest thing I’ve seen on Twitter. There’s nowhere safe to walk your dogs in peace. They (we?) will jump out of the bushes and scream, “WHAT KIND OF DOG IS THAT!?” and it’s every. day.

March ending on Easter is very fitting. The perfect ending for the first quarter of 2024. Starting April on a holy note. Praying that this second quarter brings abundance, unlimited favor and blessings. 💐
