Sad news 😔. My wife had a late meeting yesterday and one tonight! No shop time for me 😔. #missingthewoodshop. I guess this just means I can catch up on the computer side of things #positivethinking 😀👍

@grovercane That it is! We have many small people in this house and far too many coats. My plan had three stages but the second one is being delayed due to me going on eBay 😀. #newtoys 😆

The local hardware store didn’t have my usual clear varnish. Same 2x4 pine with the same stain (and same number of coats) but with different clear varnish finish. I liked the new one (top) until I put them side to side but now I’m not to sure 🤔

Just managed to get into the #woodshop and finish up my first mini project of 2019. First thing in the morning I will get it in and take some photos. Happy Monday 😃

First small project done! I realised, once I was back at work, that with so many kids I needed more coat 🧥 hanging space. I now have three! The top one is the new one and will be heading for our entrance hall

New can of clear varnish purchased! It’s not the one I normally get but they didn’t have my normal so change is the spice of life 😀
