Avoid the Jonah trap in the prophetic by making wanting to prove you are right and not compassion your motivation.

Many teach from the standpoint of wanting to prove their point from the scripture rather than presenting truth in a way so as to transform the lives of the listeners.

When you listen to such people as they speak, you can literally see the obvious gaps in their presentation as other scriptures, which contradict what they are saying pop up in your mind.

Knowledge and not compassion has become the driving force.

Even in the prophetic, you may say something, and the way the events turned out is completely different from your prophetic utterances. What you said was judgemental, but what God seems to be doing is showing mercy.

We are sent to make others win, to change and improve the lives of others even when our voice is corrective.

God is all about humanity. This is why the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath.

If you stand against the progress of the collective because you want to show you were prophetically accurate, you will experience a lot of pain just like Jonah did.

Let compassion and not your ego, which makes you think (you must always be right) be your driving force.

Don't be oppressive, but be disciplined. Have a few hard-core principles that define your value system, which you will never compromise. However, be kind to others and generous. Truly desire others to win be a channel, not a reservoir.

ADVERSE EFFECT OF GIVEAWAYS !!! 💀

One of the biggest dangers of constant giveaways is that people slowly become entitled. They begin to see generosity as an obligation, forgetting that no one is mandated to give especially not private individuals.

Recently, I saw @Wizarab10 being dragged online for not assisting someone in need, and I honestly asked myself when did he become the government or the minister of health? We’ve normalized expecting help from individuals while excusing those actually responsible for our welfare. That mindset is the real problem.

Let’s be honest nobody owes you what the government has failed to provide. Giveaways are acts of kindness, not a social right. Gratitude should never turn into entitlement. If we keep attacking people for not giving, we’ll keep letting our leaders escape accountability.

Be guided again.

Last year, I fired someone who was doing everything right. He hit every target, never missed deadlines, followed every process to perfection. On paper, he was the ideal employee, the type most companies would promote, not terminate. But he was destroying my team from the inside.

When Pastor Nath (@nathanielblow) spoke about his wife’s painful journey through multiple miscarriages—more than five—yet still found the strength to pour out blessings during the Halleluyah Challenge, I was deeply moved. It reminded me of something we often forget:

1. Pray for those who pray for you:

The people God uses to bless us often go through storms we’ll never hear about. They cry to God privately while carrying the burdens of others publicly.
Pastor Nath shared how, even as nurses attended to his wife during those heartbreaking seasons, they would still commend him for powerful ministrations. Imagine that—pouring out to the world while quietly bleeding inside.
And I can only imagine how some might have mocked him, echoing the words from Luke 4:23 — “Physician, heal thyself.”

2. True devotion is not built on answered prayers:

The deeper you walk with God, the more you realize that faith isn’t a transaction—it’s a relationship. Our loyalty is to God alone, whether or not He gives us what we desire.
If you love God only because He answers prayers, there’s more to discover. Because sometimes, the waiting itself is the real blessing—it grows you, refines you, and draws you closer to Him. (See Hebrews 11:36–end.)

3. Our spiritual leaders are human too:

They feel pain, disappointment, fear, and loss—just like us. Yet many of us only reach out when we need something from them. Let’s learn to check in, to pray for them, and to lift them up the way they constantly lift us.

May we learn compassion, not just devotion.
May we honour those who quietly serve while carrying private crosses.
And may we never forget that even while Heaven works in silence, God is still faithful.

Avoid toxicity. Pray for all, help all, but choose those who will be in your inner circle. That right belongs to you. Agape love demands that you extend goodwill unto all men, but choose your those who will be in that circle just as Jesus did.

When Paul ran into deep trouble, there were men who joined hands to bring him back to life.

Whatever happens if you are surrounded by the right people who know what their relationship with youbis all about, you will survive and thrive through anything.

Paul was stoned and left lifeless, but he came around and revived when his company surrounded him and formed a line of defence around him.

Acts 14:19,20
"19.....having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.

20 Howbeit, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city......."

My prayer for you this week is may you have such people in your life.

People don't like to think. Thinking is hard work, so many outsource this and simply follow what seems popular or the prevalent trend. They simply take what others say and sometimes shroud that as "loyalty."

Take responsibility for what your heart accepts as the truth.

Jesus asked, "Who do men say that I am" Nobody got it right until he asked, "but who do you say that I am."

Why is mercy so powerful? The root cause of humanity's problem is sin. Not sins as in plural but sin as a nature that entered into the world through one man Adam and by sin, death passed upon all men.

Death, which speaks to a detioration in the condition of man being made subject to all types of things, is a product of sin. When people cry for mercy, they are asking God to override the consequence of sin and reverse or restore.

The cry for mercy answers everything.
