A resume or where you went to college should not restrict you from accessing the best opportunities out there. Unfortunately a lot of people still spend time on crafting the best resume. I believe resumes are outdated and does not really validate the skills of a person. The best way to validate your skills and your learnings is through proof of work, which resumes cannot do.

This is why I am building Hiremart, a platform that allows people to find opportunities that they are passionate about and be hired purely based on talent and skills and not just credentials. And for companies to find people talented people who can join their team in a more simpler way.

Update for @hiremarthq :

If a user signs-up with their student email, Hiremart will ask if the student is an international student. This helps us to provide a better user experience for students based on their needs. Every user has different needs and providing an experience where the platform understands the user is the goal. International students have certain restrictions and limited opportunities. The platform will allow international students to find opportunities that provide sponsorship.

Resumes are broken and outdated. People get rejected for jobs not because they lack the skills because their resume was not good enough for the ATS/Filter. People should be hired based on talent. They should be hired based on their skill. This is why resumes should be removed.
