@HopeVirgo Hope if someone can easily relapse into anorexia should a surgical team ask them to lose a few kilos before they'll agree to hip surgery with NO support at all? This has happened near me- what can we do? They currently don't meet criteria for AN but local dieticians won't help

@londonteacher_ Life drawing - proportion. comparing length of arms etc to length of overall body. You can use a pencil at arms length to measure the head and then think about how many head long the whole body is, then divide up into leg length etc . Use 2D shapes to make a face.

@HannahtheOT I also think that whilst inpatient, everything has been removed apart from the building itself. Why do inpatient units still have hard walls?

@Mayz131 Diagnosing someone aged 15, mid eating disorder, whilst inpatient AND autistic too- how is that ok?

@Mayz131 I really think that anyone with that diagnoses ( particularly given as a young teen) should be reassessed after a time to see if they still meet criteria because DBT can change things - as can other diagnoses like adhd/ autism
