John Henderson and I had a great day of networking and learning at Renfrewshire Connect 2026. Many thanks to Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce and Invest in Renfrewshire for the day.
Fantastic session today with @EastRenCouncil & @enjoyeastren 👏So inspiring to meet so many Deaf professionals doing important work in their communities — especially during Sign Language Awareness Week. But Deaf awareness shouldn’t just happen once a year. If you want to make your workplace more accessible through BSL training or Deaf awareness sessions, get in touch 👇

Today we came to the end of our 10 week course with Renfrewshire’s health and social care partnership. We are sad that it’s ended but very proud of everyone that came to the sessions. Their knowledge has grown and their minds have opened. Monday mornings won’t be the same
All of our sessions are created with full access in mind. Please let us know if you have any needs or adjustments when booking. #BSL#BSLtrainingsessions#accessforall
What access has your workplace made for Deaf people?
Just a little end of year message from us both. We are both taking a well earned rest. Looking forward to loads of brussel sprouts and pigs in blankets.

These are just a few of the schools that we managed to visit on our Christmas BSL tour. It’s so encouraging to see so many schools invested in bringing us in to work with so many children and bring their attention to this beautiful language. Many thanks to everyone involved
We have had such an amazing time working with the Health and Wellbeing Network for Renfrewshire council. Really well done to everyone that has come to our sesssions. You have all done so well

In life we often strive for perfection but life isn’t like that. There are bumps and flaws and that’s all just part of the journey. Mistakes are just experience and should be embraced and learned from. We were pulling together an advert for one of our new projects and the whole process was so much fun that we decided to share our blooper reel. We are so used to putting out really perfect and professional content that we thought it would be fun to share what happens behind the scenes. We all have off days and laughing about it definitely makes it feel a lot better. Hope you are all well.
Great visit to @stcatherinespsy to see the BSL/storytelling film premiere led by @westscotlandbsl. Excellent BSL skills on show by all pupils and great to hear the impact this project has had on pupils, families and wider school community. Well done all! 👏😍🌟🎥@scottishcilt
@stcatherinesps literally rolled out the red carpet for the pupils that were involved in our BSL storytelling project. They finally got to attend the premiere of the film we made that documented the processes of what they learned and what they experienced. Well done to everyone involved and many thanks for @KarenScilt from @scottisscilt for visiting and joining in the celebrations. Well done to the pupils and @westscotlandbsl and @hist_adventures
