It looks impossible, but the physics is actually pretty simple. The truck is moving forward at 80 km/h, while the stuntman is launched backward at the same speed, canceling out his horizontal motion.

From the roadside, he appears to stop in midair and drop almost straight down while the truck keeps moving.

It’s a clever demonstration of relative motion and inertia, made possible by extremely precise timing and speed control.

Overtoun Bridge in Scotland has a strange reputation. For decades, dog owners have reported their pets suddenly jumping from the bridge into the ravine below.

Experts believe strong scents from animals like mink may attract the dogs, while the bridge’s high walls could hide the drop from view.
