A lot of the “gatekeepers” you run into aren’t just trying to keep others out for no reason they’re often people who’ve been burned before. Maybe they got used, taken advantage of, or betrayed. So now, they protect their energy, their space, and their trust more carefully.
The downside is, from the outside, it can look like they’re just cold, selfish, or unwelcoming. People label them as difficult or fake, when in reality, they’re just guarded.
So the lesson is twofold:
1.Don’t take people’s walls personally they might be there for a reason you can’t see.
2.But also, be careful not to become so guarded that you lose your humanity and connection to the community.
Balance is key. Boundaries don’t make you a bad person. But assuming the worst about people who have them doesn’t make the space any better either.
So glad i came to LootFest it was really fun! I got to finally meet the amazing @Dklink24 and her Kickass mod squad. I even got to see one of my high school friends @BibbidiBobiBoo! I was so hyped I was twerking @bbjessTTV 😅 and @itswittlebears saying I was shaking ass 🤣
If you don’t like who you are, how you react, your lack of consistency, your bad habits, or the fact that you’re quick to judge..
You can change that. You don’t need to live in the past. You can look back and regret. You can hate that version of you.. just make sure you work on it to be better.
