the gemini desktop app will be a nice to have, still, it will not bring new value.

why not a mix of both?
it is fine to use external AI for non privacy related data.
one can create fast almost 80% of the work (depends on the project, still my ø).
after the base code is ready, i am switching to a local AI tool with less power and knowledge, which i do not need anymore anyways. but NOW i can use the correct data files or database connection.

it is not right or wrong, black or white, just be flexible!
