Meet HIVEPAY 🐝
Build your coin. Grow the hive.
We're developing a creator rewards ecosystem for coins paired to HIVEPAY on https://t.co/eWqvdYmzPr.

Pre-launch. No token or rewards program is live.
@kry1tic33 Creator coins keep failing at the same spot: they have a launch story but no reason for holders to still be around in month two. Whatever wins likely solves retention, not just discovery.
@zettelkastten The invisible line of people getting paid first is a great lens. The flip side: who gets paid for sticking around through the boring weeks? That list is usually empty.
@nikshepsvn Good framing. One thing worth adding to the fee-revenue picture: the people generating that volume are mostly holders and creators who never see a slice of it. Who captures the loyalty layer is the open question.
@WhiteWhaleLabs The part that gets missed: the odds aren't the only problem, the incentives are. Almost everything pays for the entry moment and nothing for staying. Wonder what the platform looks like if patience were the thing that got rewarded.
@Pumpfun Squads are an interesting test of whether a group can hold a shared thesis past the first day. Curious what the retention looks like after the novelty wears off.
Three things we're watching in creator coin communities today:
1. Who replies to a new holder's first question
2. Who's still posting when the chart is boring
3. Who shows up without being asked
Those three tell you more about a coin's future than any dashboard.
What would you add to the list?

@SolanaSensei Interesting to ask which of those still have a community that shows up daily, regardless of the chart. Is that the part that survives a cycle, or is it just the brand?
@travladd Hold time is the honest metric here. If a launchpad rewarded the wallets that stay, not the ones that flip, the whole incentive map would look different.
@Darky1k Rotating chains won't fix it if the incentive stays the same: launch, extract, leave. What would a launch look like where the people holding through the quiet weeks were the ones who got noticed?
@RanTheFalcon Maybe the experiment was never creator coins, it was coins with nothing built for people after day one. The ones to study are where holders get a reason to stay when the chart goes flat.
9 hours after launch, our replies are full of "DM me for collab."
Not one asked the question we actually want: how does a creator coin reward the people who stick around?
Ask it below. We'll answer every real one.

@NotSoEasyMoney The bet on virality alone was always the weak spot. The version that could survive is one where the creator's consistency, not their peak moment, is what gets rewarded. Still unproven, but that's the experiment worth running.
@brentradess Every cycle has a chain where meme trading lives, but what stays is whichever ecosystem gives people a reason to hold after the rotation. Liquidity moves fast. Loyalty is the scarce part.
@Luacantu The shift is creators owning the incentive layer instead of renting an audience. Curious how many will design for the quiet months, since that's where most communities fall apart.
@StarPlatinum_ Fair point. A coin that only runs on one person's attention has no floor once that attention moves. The ones worth watching are where holding itself gets a reason, not just the creator posting.
@frankk_onchain Volume and revenue going up while most wallets don't profit says the money is in the infrastructure, not the average trade. The next question is whether any model gives wallets a reason to hold instead of flip.
Late-night thought: the best creator coin communities I've seen all have one thing in common. Someone always answers the 2am question from a brand new holder.
Who does that in yours?
