Welcome to the Pumpfun app, @arbitrum
Pump app really is becoming the everything app for on-chain.
I think people are significantly underestimating how big of a difference this will make in terms of onboarding.
In the past, it was incredibly difficult for normies with no crypto knowledge to get involved.
Pump is making it easier and easier for people with no crypto knowledge to participate.
Normies no longer need to set up an exchange account for onramping, worry about gas fees, determine which LP is best to execute on or even set up a hot wallet.
Truly believe we are going to see an on-chain season like no other at some point in the next 24 months because of how much lower the barrier to entry has become.
Perps traders often move more size than most people onchain, yet most of them have never had a way to build a following or get paid for the calls they make.
In an era where traders are the new celebrities, perps traders should be able to leverage their audience the same way everyone else can.
That’s why we’re excited to officially integrate Hyperliquid into the Pumpfun app.
As of today, you can long or short BTC, ETH, stocks like TSLA and NVDA, gold and the S&P 500 on Pumpfun. Every position can be called out, your followers can tail it, and when you help them win, you earn Callout Rewards.
Traders who callout tokens on Pumpfun have earned over $24,000,000 in Callout Rewards so far. Perps traders now get the same uncapped upside and so much more.

Addressing PumpSwap
There are a few things here. Firstly, the graph in the quoted post is designed to pin an entire bear market's activity on the creation of a single protocol's AMM - which is obviously wrong
I've taken this persons propaganda graph and overlayed a few things which had a massive impact on the Pumpfun ecosystem:
1. The Trump launch, which saw immense levels of activity across the ecosystem and largely contributed to the blow-off top on Solana
2. 10/10, the worst liquidation event in crypto's history which had long, cascading effects across the ecosystem
3. Pumpfun's volumes
But my version of the graphic alone does not address the underlying claim: PumpSwap is far more extractive than OG Pumpfun (which used Raydium LPs)
@dethective Sir this is me saying that my version of the graphic does not address the false claims alone, *hence* the elaboration of the defense which ensues

Yo @json1444 and @a1lon9 what’s going on ?
Why the fee switch up to fk us over ?
Only 3 coins reached 100M after Sep 2025
To visually show the drama, I decided to:
> Get all the tokens with $100M+ market cap at ATH
> Filter out obvious honeypots
> Show them on a time series
The image is pretty impressive.
@WheelerrDealerr if you're a small minded thinker, sure
alternatively you could see the real world results of compressing an ecosystem to the extent that no one wants to play in it anymore
people do not show up to play games they don't have a chance at winning.

But which launchpad is the most extractive? Surely Pumpfun?
Here's the post-bonding protocol fees for recently trending launchpads:
Pumpfun: 0.05%
Stonkfun: 1%
Pons: 0.3%
Finally, it's worth noting that Pumpfun NEEDS runners if they want to survive. If Pumpfun forces the market to compress into lower market cap tokens, they will inevitably die.
Pumpfun needs more runners and ultimately more success cases across coins & traders in order for new users to find the ecosystem attractive enough to join it.
Billion dollar runners WILL return.
Before PumpSwap, graduated coins migrated to a Raydium V4 pool
Here's what a trade on a $100M+ coin costs in each:
Raydium V4 (old setup): 0.25% total
- 0.22% LP
- 0.03% to raydium
- 0% to pump
- 0% to holders/creators
PumpSwap (now): 0.3% total
- 0.20% LP
- 0.05% to pump
- 0.05% to holders/creators
Note: Holder Rewards/Creator Fees are the main difference, and were introduced far later than PumpSwap itself. These fees are higher at lower market caps and reduce as market caps increase based on the fact that high fee tokens are far less attractive to whales who speculate on higher market cap tokens
It was VERY important for Pumpfun to keep the fee UX as close to the OG as possible, as that's what the end user was used to and enjoyed.
The only difference is Holder Rewards/Creator Fees (which reward people for holding a token or the creator of the token) alongside an additional 0.02% fee for Pumpfun.
This did not "kill the runners."
So, the LPs are essentially the same, with the main difference being the rewards fee and an additional 0.02% fee for Pumpfun.
