If there is still anyone who believes in Luca and his team, they are just as responsible as Luca himself. If you continue to support this scammer even after seeing what he has done, I honestly have no words for you.
We dedicated two years to Abstract. In return for all the time and money we invested, we got absolutely nothing from them. They deceived the entire community, and I hope one day they experience the same thing themselves. If there are still people around you who believe in these clowns, cut ties with them without a second thought. These scammers completely wiped out the value of people's hard work and effort.
At this point, anyone who can still believe in people who behave like this is simply selfish and only cares about themselves.
At first, I was considering buying a BAYC, but Abstract also seemed appealing to me, so I bought Pudgy NFTs instead and invested an amount of money in this project that was significant for me. More importantly, I invested my time. Of course, the time that is gone will never come back. I sold my Pudgy NFTs by accepting offers, and I feel much better now. I don't want to be part of this scam anymore.
After the PENGU airdrop, people trusted the Pudgy team, and I was one of them. But now that things have reached this point, it has become very clear to me that these people are nothing but scammers.
Lastly, if someone else's loss makes you happy, then you are truly evil.
🚨STATEMENT🚨
Gm.
This is a hard time for me, surely the worst day since I m in Web 3, of course I m sad because of the shut down of @AbstractChain, but I m a Lawyer/Attorney irl and I m not letting this as it is, I m sorry.
Every affected user can dm me to join the group that will initiate the legal actions in the States through X or dc.
In my capacity as counsel to persons affected by the announced shutdown of the Abstract network, I state the following:
On the facts known to this firm, the matter bears serious indicia of criminal fraud and, only in the alternative, of civil fraud. It is not treated as a mere business decision to cease operations.
In the coming weeks, in my condition of representant of the affected users from Abstract, I will contact the most prestigious lawfirms in the United States, to prepare and file a criminal complaint or, if appropriate, a civil action before the competent courts against @LucaNetz , @IglooInc , and any collaborators in the network who participated, by act or omission, in the matters under review.
Those represented regard this as one of the most serious frauds committed in the cryptoasset space.
The affected parties I represent are prepared to enter into good-faith, confidential negotiations with those responsible before proceedings are commenced.
Contact may be made through this X account or on Discord: degorcaxyz.
Absent a serious proposal within a short period, judicial proceedings will be brought without delay before the competent jurisdiction.
All criminal, civil, and other rights and remedies of those represented are expressly reserved. 🤝
What hurts more than the shutdown of @AbstractChain itself is the attitude and explanation Luca showed across Discord and the Spaces.
Shutting down a chain to prevent reckless token launches amid financial exhaustion and poor market conditions is a business decision one can logically understand.
But narrative he pushed today sounded far less like the calculated leadership of a founder and far more like defensive complaining designed to shift the blame of system failure onto the community.
The most damaging remark was his claim that whether you spent money and time on the chain he lost a few million as well so everyone is in the same boat.
This is textbook deflective communication that invalidates the other party entirely.
The entrepreneurial risk a founder shoulders and the opportunity cost of regular users who poured time and liquidity into an ecosystem based on trust are fundamentally different.
Equating the community devotion to personal capital loss as if both sides are even completely dismisses the organic effort people put in.
It is equally contradictory to complain that capital was drained by cherry pickers and airdrop farmers while asking why people could not just be real users instead of farming.
The team itself designed the system where every onchain activity was tied to XP and reinforced by a competitive ranking structure. Designing an incentive loop that naturally drives farming behavior and then blaming the users who acted logically within those rules is nothing more than deflecting a failure in product and game design.
The vast majority of the explanation today centered on self defense such as fearing community disappointment and pleading for empathy regarding how hard he fought.
Abstract shutdown was certainly not an impulse decision made overnight.
It was likely a calculated exit strategy planned weeks in advance with legal counsel.
The fact that after so much preparation the core takeaway delivered to the public was the posture of being the ultimate victim reveals a severe absence of true accountability.
Closing the Spaces by apologizing for the wasted time and money on Abstract while asserting that his ultimate responsibility lies with Pudgy Penguins is a convenient shield. The core users who rushed in early to generate volume and support the chain were the exact supporters who believed in @pudgypenguins vision in the first place.
Using one community as a moral shield to write off the disappointment of another cannot be branded as responsibility.
A venture can miss its golden window and fail due to poor execution or macro conditions.
What remains unacceptable is belittling the participants of a game you designed while using personal losses to erase the collective sacrifice of the community.
When a project that champions a community first ethos concludes with this level of disregard it sets a bitter precedent for anyone considering putting their time and faith into a founder vision.

The arcus fiasco yesterday shows us how spoilt we are by @variational_io
- variational was up front about when the points program was ending
- they rewarded the pre points users very well and points visible from day 1
- constantly kept the community updated on their roadmap
- community first approach and keeping the api private so the numbers cant be inflated by market making bots etc
- bringing innovation into the space in the name of swaps makes it a worth while use even after tge and points
@arcus_xyz
Red Flag from Arcus🚩
Let me tell you the system point distribution of Arcus, maybe they will keep the total points based on trading volume.
Summary:
-> Previously in Arcus documents, it's like they will scale the total points with total trading volume.
-> Then they changed that statement on their documents to make everything more clear after Branxi posted about it.
-> Then they comment something like this "Don't publish the weekly distribution amount"
-> It's part of "Formula they keep private".
-> S0 points are not visible until the program ends.
-> Beside the point system, many CTs also posted about another red flag regarding the referral system.
Conclusion:
Arcus is not transparent.
A question for every creator working with @arcus_xyz
Would you still promote a platform if the users you personally onboarded could be permanently attributed to a random whitelist referral from months ago?
Because that's exactly how Arcus currently works.
You finally get 31 invite codes after reaching $31M in volume.
You distribute them.
And your referral count stays at ZERO.
Why?
Because Arcus permanently attributes users to whoever referred them to the whitelist, even if that happened months before they ever got access.
Your invite code merely grants access.
Someone else gets the benefits.
It affects trading volume attribution, points, and the entire incentive structure behind community growth.
Is this really the referral system Arcus wants its creators to work with?
So what's the point of building a community, promoting the platform, and distributing invite codes?
is Arcus just gaslighting us with this points program?
> they ended Season 0 and showed ranks, not points
> same day they started Season 1, and the docs said weekly points weren't fixed and could go up with activity
> CT made noise, they rewrote the text and said it's fixed
> then the same day they said they won't show the weekly number because it's a secret
so what changed?
they can change the number anytime and nobody will know
was this the plan all along, and all those doc edits were just an attempt to blow smoke in our faces?
