Amazing achievement from our U17 Girls Cricket team as they are crowned National Champions. Unbelievable effort from a fantastic group. Big thank you to @SmileGroupTvl for their sponsorship of the competition.
Cricket history was made with the first ever Girls hardball game being played on the main school square. The future of cricket looks bright at Ipswich School
So at the moment if a male jumps out from behind a bush & exposes his genitalia to a group of 8yr old girls it’s an offence. Which parents can demand action on. If that same male self IDs as a women based on a feeling he says he has in his head then does exactly the same thing in the women’s changing rooms of a swimming pool to a group of 8yr of girls (no surgery or hormones needed) I’m now a bigot & a transphobe for saying I have a problem with it. Can people not see how this will/can & has been used by sexual predators? 98% male by the way. Safeguarding Kids is more important than a feeling in a man’s head. We can’t afford to be this virtue signalling. It’s potentially very dangerous to women & children. Sex based rights must be protected
Today I celebrate 16,637 days of being a woman! I’ve been pregnant twice, 2 c-sections due to a funky uterus and dodgy bits (ugh!) Two crazy, awesome kids to show for it, I actually think my name is now ‘Mummy’ and not Sarah at all! I’ve had an ovarian cyst and struggled to breastfeed my first. I’ve had internal battles against nonsensical stereotypes and expectations of ‘how a woman should be’ because I don’t tick those boxes, but I’m STILL a woman just because I’m female. Nobody can change sex and gender - p’ah!
@SarahVaci A wonderful daughter with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, 3 elective LSCS to have a son and two more daughters. Also had sexual abuse, laser treatment for CIN3, fertility treatment for son, mastitis, mirena to help with menopause, bladder tapes and now have a blood cancer.
@SarahVaci Today I celebrate 19,908 days of being a woman. At age 5 thought I wanted to be a boy because I loved football. Thank god that was 1973 and not now! I’m married, had 7 pregnancies: 2 miscarriages, 1 medical termination at 20 weeks, 1 normal botched delivery which resulted in
Today is dedicated to celebrating siblings of disabled children who often don’t get the same attention, and whose lives are enriched but also sometimes hard because their brother or sister has a disability. @Sibs_uk@mencap_charity@fragilexuk#NationalSiblingsDay2023
This was absolutely disgraceful from the Health Secretary
She thinks uncapped bonuses for millionaire bankers is a terrific idea but the nurses who sacrificed so much to keep us safe during the pandemic should accept another crappy real terms pay cut
ABSOLUTE BOLLOCKS TO THAT!
Siblings often talk about feeling isolated often unaware that they are part of a huge community of siblings in the UK who have grown up with a disabled brother or sister. Tell a sibling you know about us today. https://t.co/BsSSI6VMnw @jowhiley
Tekle has inspired us all here at Ipswich School. Fleeing Eritrea alone as a 14 year old, he has worked tirelessly on his A levels, an opportunity which was closed to him elsewhere due to starting them at the age of 18. Well done Tekle!
