Listening to the ongoing debate in Parliament, one thing stands out—the inability of some leaders to rise above drawing-room rhetoric.
The issue isn’t disagreement; it’s the lack of seriousness. When arguments drift away from the subject and into performative one-upmanship, it reduces the dignity of the House.
This isn’t a schoolyard debate. The country expects depth, clarity, and responsibility—not entitlement-driven noise.
Tangents are tolerable. Trivialising Parliament is not.
A senior Iranian official told Reuters that Pakistan’s army chief’s trip to Iran helped reduce differences in some areas and raised hopes for extending the ceasefire and holding a second round of talks, but said fundamental disagreements persist over nuclear issues, including the fate of Iran’s highly enriched uranium and the duration of its nuclear restrictions.
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people
Livin' life in peace

When an artist’s body of work is more than 12,000 songs, it becomes impossible to choose a best. But here is one that always brings joy - Aaiye Meherbaan from Howrah Bridge. Asha ji’s silken voice combines with Madhubala’s incredible beauty to create magic.
RIP Asha ji.
It is not always easy to believe. It was not easy for Thomas, and it is not easy for us either. Faith needs to be nourished and sustained. For this reason, on the “eighth day” — that is, every Sunday — the Church invites us to do as the first disciples did: gather together and celebrate the Eucharist. #GospelOfToday (Jn 20:19–31)
There is no human experience that God does not redeem. When lived in union with the passion of the Lord, even suffering can become a path to holiness. The grace that converts and transforms life strengthens us in every trial. It does not point us towards a distant ideal, but towards the encounter with God, who became man out of love. #GeneralAudience #LumenGentium
To proclaim the Paschal mystery of Christ in both word and deed means to give a new voice to hope — a hope otherwise stifled by the hands of the violent. Wherever it is proclaimed, the Good News sheds light upon every shadow, in every age. #Easter
Let us allow ourselves to be transformed by the peace of Christ! Let us make heard the cry for peace that springs from our hearts! For this reason, I invite everyone to join me in a prayer vigil for peace that we will celebrate here in Saint Peter’s Square next Saturday, April 11. #Easter
Death is always lurking. We see it in violence, in the wounds of the world, in the cry of pain that rises from every corner because of the abuses that crush the weakest among us, because of the idolatry of profit that plunders the earth’s resources, because of the violence of war that kills and destroys. #Easter
Even today there are tombs to be opened, and often the stones sealing them are so heavy and so closely guarded that they seem to be immovable. Some weigh heavily on the human heart, such as mistrust, fear, selfishness and resentment; others, stemming from these inner struggles, sever the bonds between us through war, injustice and the isolation of peoples and nations. Let us not allow ourselves to be paralyzed by them! #Easter
