There’s been a resurgence of attention for Fleetwood Mac’s Silver Springs, and after watching a 15 minute video about the background story and watching the famous ‘97 performance 20 times tonight, I’m happy to report that I will continue watching it daily for the rest of my life.

I forgot how fun Speak Now is. It encapsulates the high emotions of late teen years. The giggle in Speak Now, the guitar parts in Dear John… all delightful. Seven is my fave Taylor song, but Speak Now has to be my Taylor album.

#UCCSynod Like budgets, schedules are moral documents. This sense of urgency to close discussion & move on with business is a direct result of the choices we make in scheduling and prioritizing process & expediency. May we find new ways to prioritize spirit and witness

Look how many people abstained from that vote—presumably feeling like they don’t know enough of Hawaiian history, culture, and current politics to vote in good conscience. #UCCSynod

One way we could reassess the format of Synod is through expanding access to educational intensives before we gather to vote. Once we get here, delegates only have time to attend one single intensive, even though they vote on all resolutions. #uccsynod
