Rare scenes of protest in Hong Kong emerged: a group of citizens gathered in Central, the busiest commercial area, and held blank papers. Police arrived and protestors' IDs were marked. It's been a long time since protests are staged in the streets after NSL.

From the video clip, a Chinese Consulate staff trying to destroy private properties of the peaceful Hongkonger protesters. What’s more? We see from the video that Hongkongers were kidnapped into the Chinese Consulate areas by Chinese Consulate staff. @FCDOGovUK@JamesCleverly
This is deeply worrying. Video appears to show a Hong Kong pro-democracy protestor dragged into the Chinese Consulate grounds in Manchester and beaten. I trust @suellabraverman will look into this urgently.
We have visited @shareshopsuk today as they have opened a new shop last week to support homeless and refugees. A Hongkonger has been volunteering for 6 months and she has been enjoying working there. Look forward to collaborating with them.
Remembering and praying for the Queen at @ChesterCath and signing the book of condolences at the Town Hall on behalf of our organisation and HKers in Chester. Thanks for the invite from the @Go_CheshireWest Council.
The Queen is not only the most respected person of British people but also of Hongkongers. She will be missed and may she now be united with Duke of Edinburgh.
💬 I'm straightforward, straight-talking and honest.
I do what I say I will do.
I've done it in Trade.
I've done it in the Foreign Office.
And I'll do it as Prime Minister.
