Holy shit… the exploitation of CVE-2025-55182 has reached a new level. There’s now a publicly available Chrome extension on GitHub that automatically scans for and exploits vulnerable sites as you browse. Absolutely wild. 🤦‍♂️

Thanks to NextJS, my server was attacked with RCE. Suddenly a script appeared in my next.js working directory and the script downloaded 3 executables from a remote S3 bucket, and then started cron jobs in my system, and then a instance_id file was generated and sent to a remote server.
