Forleden var jeg inviteret i studiet til Huxi Bach's spændende podcast Ubegribeligt for at tale om tal. Det kom der en ret god udsendelse ud af, synes jeg. Du kan høre den her: https://t.co/YkLHSsxc0T

We could do philosophically interpreted interviews and questionnaires like the eye-opener in Eva Müller-Hills dissertation and papers. But I would like less interpretation and more direct profession like James Franklin at UNSW.
Can anyone show me (or tell me how to produce) a list of [self-professed] contemporary platonist mathematicians? I keep reading 'many mathematicians are platonists', and I could even write so myself, but is it backed by any kind of (empirical, individ based) evidence?
Intended as a (self-)criticism, there is also a positive aspect to this concern: I would genuinely like to compare texts of platonist and 'non-platonist' or 'mainstream' mathematicians.
Early announcement for our summer course Topics in Philosophy of Mathematical Practice 2023 https://t.co/8QAdHmHiBP. In 2023 we welcome students to Copenhagen. Please help spread the word. @MikkelWillum
Registration for the interdisciplinary scientific workshop "Creativity in Mathematics and AI" (CMAI 2023) 18-20 January 2023 @UM_DACS @MaastrichtU in The Netherlands, is now possible via https://t.co/IvhdETdSON
Participation is open and free, and we will send out a Zoom link some days in advance. If you want to register to receive the link, please send me an email.
As previously announced, we organize another online mini-conference on Topics in Philosophy of Mathematical Practice in conjunction with our summer course in Copenhagen. The mini conference is held August 8-10 and you can check the program here: https://t.co/vLMonvF6tx.
This year, there are four talks by Jessica Carter, Simon DeDeo, Ben Martin, and Ben Davies.
The format is informal, giving room to our course students as well as colleagues to engage in interesting discussions about recent and interesting developments in our field.
