जब पिता अपने आखिरी समय में थे, तब बिहार था। पिछले 14 वर्षों में परिवार छूटा, घर छूटा, समाज छूटा। बच्चे कब बड़े हुए पता नहीं चला। आज भी जब पलट के पीछे देखता हूं तो लगता है कि बहुत थोड़ा सा पाने के लिए कितना कुछ खोना पड़ता है। लेकिन क्या खोना है, क्या पान��� है। ये कभी सोचा नहीं, तो इसकी पीड़ा नहीं होती। आज जहां हूं, वहां होना सौभाग्य है। लालू जी ने पिता की कमी महसूस नहीं होने दी। ये बातें सिंपैथी के लिए नहीं है। बताने के लिए है। एक गरीब परिवार के लड़के को लालू जी ने सांसद बनाया। इज़्ज़त दी। मान बढ़ाया। लोगों ने ताली दिया, तो गाली देने का हक भी है। संजय को गाली देना आसान है। क्योंकि संजय गाली सुनने के बाद भी मुस्कुराता है। पलट के जवाब नहीं देता। आप जब हरियाणवी कह के चिढ़ाते हैं तो नकारात्मक प्रतिक्रिया नहीं देता। लेकिन मन में एक सवाल होता है। संजय से पहले दर्जनों बिहार के बाहर के लोग राज्यसभा गए। बिहार के क्षेत्रीय दलों से गए, राष्ट्रीय पार्टी ने कई अलग-अलग राज्य के नेताओं को बिहार कोटे से राज्यसभा भेजा। उनमें उद्योगपति रहे, वकील रहे, राजनेता, कलाकार, क्रिकेटर रहे। लेकिन पूरे देश में इसके लिए ��बसे पहली गाली किसी को मिली, तो वो संजय था। दुख इसका भी नहीं है। क्योंकि ये मेरे लक्ष्य में बाधा नहीं है। जैसे लाखों राजद कार्यकर्ताओं का मिशन तेजस्वी जी को मुख्यमंत्री बनाना है, मेरा भी है। मैं भी उस मुहिम का एक छोटा सा सिपाही हूं। मैंने नीतियां बनाने में अपने नेता का सहयोग किया। रणनीतियों में सुझाव दिया। वो जहां डटे रहें, मैं वहां से हटा नहीं। उनका साथ देना ही मैंने अपना परम कर्तव्य समझा। न���ता जानते हैं, मैने अपना शत प्रतिशत दिया है। बस इतनी सी कहानी है। यकीन मानिए, लालू जी की पार्टी को कोई हाइजैक नहीं कर सकता। राजद इस देश के दलित, पिछड़े, आदिवासियों और मुसलमानों की पार्टी है। मजलूमों की पार्टी है। ये आबाद रहेगी। जिंदाबाद रहेगी।
