This afternoon I had a call to pick up my youngest from nursery because he was unwell, I arranged cover for my remaining lessons and went to SLT to tell them I had to leave, in response I got asked;
‘Does it have to be you? Why can’t your wife do it?’
It’s been a long, long Twitter hiatus but I’m back! A baby, maternity leave (in a pandemic), brief stint in EYFS, more lockdowns, a house move and job move later… #backtotwitter#newschool#newjob#nowiteachyear6!
Some good news in all this darkness... we welcomed baby Freddie 3 weeks ago and he is the most wonderful miracle 💙 having a baby in the midst of a pandemic is definitely unforgettable. Thankful to be safe and well xx
‘Children get off to a flying start in Reception. Teachers in the early years have created classrooms brimming with exciting learning activities.’ Ofsted have judged EYFS as outstanding @EssaPrimaryAcad

@flybe why are your cabin baggage dimensions much smaller than everywhere else?! Makes it unfair for people who comply with standard regulations for cabin baggage size.
Fantastic sport filled day with @wiseowltrust at the Etihad! The children and adults loved it, thank you for organising 😊 #makingmemories @EssaPrimaryAcad
Thank you so much for the positive comments. We love hearing that the children love the texts of the #LiteraryCurriculum and that teachers appreciate the planning support 😊❤️📚🤓
Another busy day @EssaPrimaryAcad preparing for our summer fair tomorrow 🌞🌞🌞 Another huge thank you to our families, @Warburtons and @Greenhalghs for their kind donations. Don't forget tomorrow at 11-1pm. See you there!!!
