@timrosen35 A) they shouldn’t be discussed in the same sentence, you’re letting your st kilda bias get to you which leads me to B) you are just wrong. Taylor, Moore, may, Sicily, and Harris Andrews to name a few..
'It's an unmitigated disaster.
Jeff Kennett believes he is cleverer than every other person in the room and he fancies himself as a master politican. He has failed Hawthorn on absolutely every front as he has tried to manoeuvre this."
- Gerard on the Hawthorn situation
1. Interesting that Collingwood is now shifting its narrative to claim that they are trying to 'reach out' to me. Let me very clear: I have no intention of sitting down with anyone until they publicly acknowledge some fundamental facts.

Kids from a private school - once considered "soft" - are now almost 4 times as likely to be drafted in @AFL as a state school kid. A quarter of the past 2 drafts are from just 11 elite (APS) schools in Vic. How did this huge cultural shift happen? https://t.co/lECRDNGPl4
@shaits1 Either that, or there’s a group of up and coming players who have a net session while each umpire umpires a different net. E.g if aleem dar needs to work on decisions around off spinners, he’ll stand at that net. If erasmus is struggling with left hand bats, he goes to that net
In the wake of some pretty disastrous umpiring this #Ashes19, I am wondering how/if cricket umpires 'train'. Do they go to the nets and umpire sessions there? Center wicket stuff? Or do they just watch footage? A mind twister
Good luck to @therealwhanlon who is endeavoring to show our boys up in the G1 strategies this week & to @maxhoulahan_ hopefully bringing the team home in the quaddie
