"In particular, we feel that city council has given directive and voted in support of lots of policies and programs and plans that support active transportation and those items are not reflected in the current budget." #yycbike https://t.co/jMAY4C1ReW
#yyccc - Unable to attend the budget hearings today (sick kids!). Please FUND the Neighbourhood Streets Policy so we can create more connected and vibrant communities, support active modes of transportation and improve safety! @bikecalgary@SustainableYYC @gccarra #yycbudget2022
Open letter to City Manager David Duckworth as well as the Offices of the Mayor & Councillors. We have questions about active transportation spending the #yyccc budget. We look forward to responses from City Admin and City Council.
As the @cityofcalgary heads into budget talks and affordable housing continues to be a priority - this story is especially timely and important. What will happen to Bridgeland Place?
@Ward9Tweets - we support safer streets, multi-modal transportation, and enhancements to the Neighbourhood Streets Policy that allow for a more walkable neighbourhood for all ages and abilities.
Budget week is coming up soon and Council needs to hear from you! You can make an impact by speaking to your values and aspirations as part of this important work.
